Hello everyone! First of all, I’d like to thank the folks at Wangan Warriors for letting me make a guest blog post, I am extremely honored to be around here. My name is Bruno Dias and I come from a little country on the far southwest of Europe, Portugal. Which brings me to my main point, to show you one of the best 4th Gen Civic builds we have around.

What´s 2019 gonna bring?!
“This year is going to be so much better then last year!”. But is it going to be so much better? And what makes it a good year?
Before looking forward to this year I want to look back to a rough year of 2018. A year I only wrote two blogs for Wangan and barely touched my camera. A year we only published a total of six blogs.
Jesse’s 4th gen Civic – Build for purpose
In a very small village somewhere in the south-west of the Netherlands you can find Jesse de Smit, the owner of this Civic. The roads around town are not wide enough to fit 2 cars, the cell phone signal is very weak and it is very quiet around there. In Jesse’s backyard there is a small garage where Jesse spends a lot of time improving his toy.
Mimms Honda Day 2017: Season kickoff!
The weather is getting better, projects are being finished and people are getting excited! Time to wash the cars, get some fuel and drive a lot of kilometers for a car show. Mimms Honda Day was the kick-off of the 2017 season for me. This was a special one in my opinion because I got my CRX back on the road after 2 years and I drove to the UK right away.
Japanese Performance Show
Japanese Performance Show is a new concept in the UK. Not that it’s the first Japanese show, nor is it the first performance show but it’s a new direction of car show events because it’s the very first Japanese Performance Show with an indoor venue. Stijn and myself decided to do a trip to the UK to see what this event was all about. What made us try out a new event which was held for the very first time at a location we didn’t know and pretty far from our home? Was it worth the trip? I hope you’ll read further either way but I’ll give you the answer to that question right now. It was absolutely 100% worth making the trip to the UK for the JPShow2016. Continue reading
Loving the Kanjo lifestyle
It’s funny how fast the world has become increasingly smaller with the rise of the world wide web. The last few years have been a feast for everyone and everything with an interest in the Japanese car scene, which of course is a good thing!
The famous Kanjo racers for example have been causing havoc on the famous Osaka Loop since the eighties but now anybody with an interest in these crazy guys and their crazy (mostly) Civic’s finds that the interwebs is a neverending source of inspiration! Continue reading
JDM sunset at the beach
JDM sunset at the beach is a Japanese car oriented event held at a beautiful location right by the South-West part of the Dutch coast. I was not too sure to make the trip together with my fellow WNGN shooters because we had at least a 2 hour drive and not knowing what we would find on location. Little did I know it was worth making the trip because we had a pretty good evening after all at this meet. Continue reading
W.W. END OF YEAR 2K15: Aftermovie

Mimms Honda Day 2015 – End of season finale
During a lazy weeknight, I was browsing on Facebook wasting some time when I saw a message from a buddy of mine who was looking for a co-driver to join him on a trip to Mimms. It caught my attention, I’ve never been to England before and I was curious to see this event and also to see how the UK scene compares to the Netherlands. I had over 25 days of holiday left from work to spare, so I said to myself “Why the hell not?!”. We cruised down to Duinkerke to get the boat to Dover, it was a crazy moment when coming to the French border with the current police and military presence. They stood there with automatic guns after all the drama which has unfortunately unfolded during the past few weeks. Continue reading
Little red ringtool
As you might know, Wangan Warriors is more than just the blog and a healthy FB page. It’s also a group of friends who like to get together every now and then to have a laugh, BBQ or take weekend trips to the famous Nürburgring. These weekends are all about the above and of course to drive a few laps ourselves and/or to watch what and who is trying to conquer the Ring. It was during one of these trips when I spotted a a little red ringtool at Brunchen and seeing as I’m always on the look out for stuff to shoot and cars to feature, I thought this Civic would make a nice spotlight feature for our humble blog!
