Built to win! The Valtonen Motorsport RX-7

Hello and welcome to my first (and hopefully not last) blog on Wangan Warriors. Some may know me as Stijn van Beek, seen my photos on Lifestyle-INC or know me as a red-headed boy driving a Honda CRX. I’m not going to bother you guys with boring stuff about myself so let’s talk about something you don’t see everyday.

All the way from Finland, the Valtonen Motorsport FD3S RX-7. Continue reading

Events: Breaking records at Syntix Speedmasters

A few weeks back the Wangan Warriors blog team went almost full force to an event called Syntix Speedmasters. It was an event I was really looking forward to for various reasons. First, it would be one of the very few events we would cover with multiple team members. Second, and most importantly, it promised to be a weekend filled with tyre smoke and roaring engines. Events: DMPD trackday

Let me start by saying that this is the way a trackday should always be held. I can’t recall being at a track session with so much mutual respect and kindness among the people present. DMPD is going places if you ask me. The DMPD drift jam had the same impression on me and what I’m trying to say is that I had a real good time at Zandvoort last Saturday and I sincerely hope many of these events will follow. Car life: Mick van Randeraat and the Zandvoort circuit

It’s nice to meet loads of people along the road when you’re out there shooting. Some of the people come over and ask you to e-mail the photos to them others compliment you on your work or they come over and say: He you’re that guy from… (wherever they think your from). I must say that definitely last year I experienced more of these situations. I first met Mick van Randeraat earlier this year at one of the promotional meetings for DMPD2013. Continue reading
