When Rens and I visited the Skylimit event at the Zolder Circuit we photographed two unique Skylines. Like Rens said in the R32 feature, Bruce Morris brought a few friends with him from the UK. Lisa Diamond was there too with her impressive Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R.
When we arrived at the parking lot we looked around and had a little chat with Bruce Morris. When Bruce was busy with a tyrechange, our attention was attracted by Lisa’s Skyline. It basically invited us to go over there and take a closer look.
After we found out that there was a RB30 under the bonnet we invited her for a photoshoot. Lisa has been the owner for several years and many things have changed during that time. She told me that the car still has to be mapped with this engine.
As you can see the exterior has been through quite a change. The idea behind the stickers is pretty simple: to outshine more during time attack sessions and track days. Lisa was a little bored of the simple black collour and needed some variation.
Another exterior amendment is this Nismo with an ATTKD spoiler extension.
The owner tries to keep the R33 as light as possible. The proof of that are these ultralite A-tech wheels with toyo R888 tyres.
As you can see the interiour is far from stock. It’s fully stripped. Lisa has a FIA licenced six point rollcage, some fancy suede GTR stitched handbrake and gear gaitor covers, Blitz electronic turbo timer…
… and a set of comfy Sparco Pro2000 bucket seats.
The stock gauge cluster is almost the only thing that has been kept stock.
The power that keeps this thing rolling lays in the enginebay and the SARD external fuelling system with 3 external pumps has been installed the upgrade the former fuelsystem. The suspension has been upgraded with GAB fully adjustable coilovers.

Garret GT4088r single turbo set-up for some extra air. This fine piece of technique runs thanks to the VIPEC engine management systeem.
