Fall time at the Nürburgring means that the weather will be unpredictable as ever.
This time around heavy fog covered the whole track for hours and there was a large chance that the battle runs on Sunday would be called off.
Thankfully the weather cleared in time and the boys could go out and make some heavy fog of their own.

Nürburgring Drift Cup 2016 – Round 1 video feature
A new season of the Nürburgring Drift Cup has finally started. After a long winter break full of building and tinkering, everybody was looking forward to test out their new and improved rides out on track. Continue reading
Nürburgring Drift Cup 2015 – Round 3
For 2015 I had the pleasure of covering all three rounds of the Nürburgring Drift Cup, taking place at the Müllenbach curve of the Nürburgring GP track.
Dennis Köhler – 460Hp Mazda Miata Turbo
Dennis Köhler is a familiar name on this blog. We’ve mentioned this young drift talent a few times in our Nürburgring Drift Cup coverage in the past. Our video guy Antonis of Anto Moto did an interview with Dennis at the Müllenbachschleife during the last NDC round. He showed every single inch on the furious NA and some nice action footage. Watch the video! Continue reading
NDC 2015 round 2 – Having fun
This post has been very long in the making. Many weeks in fact, with many many rewrites. Why? Because I seem to be unable to write an event report like my fellow bloggers here at Wangan Warriors. Their blogs, like Bill’s articles about King of Europe, read like a complete story. I usually read them at least twice, and I always get the feeling I was there too at an event.

Insanity. Madness. Epic. Party. 2JZ. Gatebil!
What is there to say or write about Gatebil events that hasn’t already been said or written? Who hasn’t seen the likes of Aasbø, “Mad” Mike or Vaughn Gittin jr. drifting through traffic via YouTube? So what can I say or write that sounds new or fresh to you? To be honest, I don’t think I can. But I’d still like you to join me on this trip. Gatebil through the eyes of a first timer. That’s right! I got my Gatebil cherry popped at this year’s main event; Gatebil Rudskogen! Continue reading
Nürburgring Drift Cup and the love for drifting
One week from now, around the time of writing, on monday the 6th of april, the winner of the first round of the Nürburgring Drift Cup 2015 is crowned. With so little time left for the kickoff of my 2015 automotive season I decided to reflect a bit on the 2014 championship, because by now it shouldn’t be a surprise that the NDC and drifting in particular are meaning something to me.

NDC Round 4: The core of German drifting
Let’s take a moment to talk about German drifting, something I wasn’t too familiar with until last weekend when I headed to NDC Round 4. The Nürburgring Drift Cup has been a growing phenomenon since the first event which was held in 2013. After the birth of drift culture in Japan it has infected numerous motorsport enthusiasts from all over the world and evidently Europe has got a taste for it as well. Finally Germany has a solid home for drifting alongside some of the bigger leagues from the UK, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia. The famous Müllenbachschleife has been the playing field for this event over the last 5 rounds and has proven to become the core of German drifting. Continue reading
Nurburgring Drift Cup – Pushing the Limits
The last couple of months went by so fast I can’t even remember what I did during all those weeks. I travelled a lot, that’s for sure, and even to a track I never visited before. Maurice and I went to the 24H of Zolder in Belgium a few weeks ago as guests of a team and it was great to visit an event as a visitor for the first time in years.

Drift Allstars Round 6: Taking over the streets of Kaunas.
For one last time in 2014 the Drift Allstars circus would descend upon a town, turning it into their home for the weekend – Kaunas in Lithuania would set the stage for the series finals. With all the drivers still hungry for a podium finish and the overall championship still up for grabs for a select few, the street track would prove to be the ultimate setting for this day of judgement.
